Terms of the Purchase Agreement

No chinchilla will be sold until  Chinchildren's basic requirements are met.

______ Buyer must have basic knowledge of a chinchilla as a pet.

______ Buyer must have chinchilla safe cage, accessories and housing, and A/C in the chinchilla's room

______ Buyer must have permission to keep chinchilla where he/she resides.

______ Buyer agrees to breed this animal only if it is acceptable breeding quality as determined by the general guidelines of breeding chinchillas.

______ Buyer agrees to provide chinchilla a healthy diet (fresh timothy/alfalfa hays - Mazuri, Kline, APD, Oxbow, Tradition pellets - NO PET STORE FEEDS!, treats to be given NO more than once a week)

______ Buyer agrees to inform breeder of animal's death or sickness.

______ Primary caregiver of chinchilla must be 18+ years old; if under the age of 18, there must be an adult guardian in charge of care.

______ Buyer must abide by any special instructions or rules for chinchilla purchase set by breeder (ex: caged alone, do not breed, do not separate; pairs, etc.)

The ownership and responsibility of the chinchilla belongs solely to the buyer, but the seller unconditionally retains the Right to First Refusal. If for any reason the buyer cannot keep the chinchilla or decides to sell the chinchilla, the buyer will first contact the seller regarding placement of that chinchilla into a new home. Seller retains the right to assist the placement process and may request the contact information be exchanged with new owner.        OVER
