Welcome. My name is Shelli, and I am the owner and operator of a breeding program of high quality Chinchillas. My chins come from some of the top breeders in the US such as Ritterspach, Shoots, Somavia, and Vetter, to name just a few.

While all my chins are at least 'breeding' quality, and most are 'show' quality - I do NOT breed for size per se. I believe that breeding any species to it's natural, or unnatural, extremes results in undesirable health problems. I try not to produce animals that should not be bred due to lack of size, and I often produce large animals. Producing animals that are LARGE first and foremost, however, is NOT a goal in my program!

That being said, I DO breed for health, fur quality, good color, conformation, and temperament. My chins are bred to be show animals, breeding animals, and life long companions, and to bring joy and pride to their owners.

I invest much love, thought, time, and money into my chins and their kits. I believe that the guardianship of animals is to be taken very seriously, so please do not be offended when I ask many questions prior to placing one of my animals with you.

Pet ownership is expensive and the purchase price of the animal is the LEAST of the overall expense. I price my chins according to color, quality, and gender so please do not ask me to discount the purchase price of a chin.

At this time I breed Standards, Black Velvets, Ebonies, TOV Ebonies, Ebony carriers, Mosaics, TOV Mosaics, Violets, Violet Wraps, TOV Violets, and Violet carriers.

I am a member of MCBA (Mutation Chinchilla Breeders Association) and am also in constant contact with breeders across the country. This helps me learn more about these wonderful little critters, and guarantee that my program makes a positive - albeit small - contribution to the species.
